Job summary

pladis is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Manager to drive world-class manufacturing performance across its snacking and confectionery operations. The role leads deployment of OE frameworks, improving safety, quality, cost and service, and embedding a strong continuous improvement culture across multiple factories.

The successful candidate will have deep sector experience, manufacturing excellence expertise, and the ability to influence across a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the snacking and/or confectionery industry is essential.
• Significant experience in manufacturing and/or operational excellence roles within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Track record of delivering sustainable operational improvements in a factory environment.
• Experience across multiple manufacturing sites and cultures, ideally in a global or regional role.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and sustain OE framework across sites per global standards.
• Drive improvements in OE%, cost, losses, quality, conformance to plan, and safety metrics.
• Coach factory leadership to embed continuous improvement behaviours.
• Prioritize and execute improvements with clear business cases and quantified benefits.
• Partner with site, regional and global leaders to raise end-to-end performance.
• Support capability building through training, coaching and hands-on support.
