Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Sydney invites applications for a Senior Associate in Global Network Banking. Based in Sydney, you will support large inbound clients, work with NSW Relationship Managers, and help deliver robust account plans while leveraging HSBC's global network.

You will analyze credit papers, review financial statements, ensure KYC/compliance, and identify cross-sell opportunities across traditional credit, working capital, and infrastructure finance.

Qualifications

• Strong corporate credit skills.
• Experience in corporate/institutional banking.
• Knowledge of Global Network Banking products or similar.
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• In-depth analytical skills with a commercial orientation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside relationship managers to oversee an existing portfolio and assist with robust account plans.
• Supporting and reviewing the write up of specialised corporate credit papers, including debt financing and/or working capital financing.
• Financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements, including financial modelling and sensitivity analysis.
• Ensuring portfolio and customer compliance at all times (KYC, AML, Anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions).
• Maintaining an understanding of the customer’s industry and markets.
• Identifying, escalating, and documenting new share of wallet opportunities through provision of HSBC products and services.
