The role emphasizes advising on licenses, Incoterms, and regulatory obligations, while strengthening procedures and audit readiness across international trade.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting export/import regulations including EXIM controls.
• Ability to translate complex legislation into practical guidance for stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted, expert advice on EXIM compliance for shipments and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Australian and international regulations governing EXIM products and technical data.
• Interpret complex legislation and translate into clear, practical guidance for internal stakeholders.
• Document review of technology and permit submissions.
• Respond to general enquiries from the program team, including support for bid activities.
• Provide guidance on licenses, Incoterms, and regulatory obligations.
• Help drive global trade‑compliance by improving procedures and audit readiness.
