Job summary

EY in Sydney seeks an Associate Director for Global Service Line FP&A to advise Service Line CFOs and senior leaders. You will blend FP&A discipline with commercial insight to drive planning, forecasting and performance management across multiple service lines and regions.

You will translate complex data into clear leadership narratives, support strategic initiatives and strengthen management information, working in a global matrix to improve reporting quality and drive data-enabled decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics with professional qualification preferred.
• At least 10 years of FP&A, business analysis or finance partnering experience in a complex org.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, forecasting and management reporting.
• Proven ability to deliver insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser linking financial results to commercial performance drivers.
• Support Service Line CFOs with analysis, modelling and recommendations for planning and decision-making.
• Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting with actionable insights.
• Translate strategy and market context into robust financial plans and targets.
• Analyse revenue, margin, costs, backlog, utilization and productivity to identify trends and actions.
• Provide scenario analyses with clear assumptions and trade-offs.
• Prepare leadership updates and executive presentations translating data into decisions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Reporting, Data Analytics and other teams to improve data quality and outputs.
• Promote AI, analytics and Global Finance tools to enhance insight and efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives while ensuring service line financial integrity.
• Coach colleagues and foster cross-functional collaboration.
