Job summary

Jomablue is seeking an Event Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile customer projects from our Sydney hub. You will oversee operations, mentor delivery teams, and shape scalable processes to support global standards.

The role is based in Ultimo, Sydney with regular domestic and international travel. You will work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure customer-centric delivery and strategic alignment with Jomablue’s goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in event delivery, customer success, or project management.
• Experience leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities for small teams or juniors.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Experience managing project budgets and tracking commercial performance.
• Technologically savvy with cloud-based tools (G-Suite, Office 365, Salesforce).
• Passport valid; annual police check required.
• Experience supporting growth during team/office expansion.
• Familiarity with hybrid or digital event platforms and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex customer projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Serve as primary contact for key customer stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Lead scoping, planning, and resourcing; manage timelines and budgets.
• Identify and resolve delivery risks, maintain momentum and customer confidence.
• Collaborate with Account Management to align goals and growth opportunities.
• Mentor Event Delivery Leads and Coordinators to uplift capability and consistency.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
• Contribute to SOPs, workflows, and delivery methodologies used globally.
• Provide leadership during major onsite activations and act as escalation point.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture aligned with company values.
