Job summary

Sentral in Sydney is seeking a Migration & Implementation Consultant to help customers transition data into the School Management Platform. You will lead data migrations end-to-end, build automated processes, and ensure data accuracy while supporting broader implementation activities.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, applying strong Python and SQL skills to deliver scalable migration solutions for educational data. This role offers a dynamic, global-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in data migration, technical implementation, data engineering or technical consulting.
• Advanced Python scripting skills, with automation of data extraction, cleansing, transformation and validation.
• Advanced SQL skills with profiling, mapping and data quality analysis.
• Experience migrating data between SaaS platforms or enterprise systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to obtain Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migrations from discovery through load.
• Design and automate Python scripts to speed migrations.
• Use advanced SQL to profile, map, transform, reconcile data.
• Collaborate with customers to understand source systems, rules and migration requirements.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, exceptions and migration risks with customers and internal teams.
• Own migration testing and quality assurance, including reconciliation and regression testing.
• Develop reusable migration frameworks, documentation and processes.
• Support broader implementation activities including system configuration, UAT, training, go-live.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Support and Implementation teams to deliver outcomes.
