Job summary

Align Talent in Melbourne seeks a Business Data Analyst to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for Sales, Marketing and Finance within a global consumer brand (Sports). The role offers high visibility and ownership of market share reporting, monthly sales insights and quarterly reviews, with exposure to the international analytics team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, data science or a related field is required.
Minimum three years' relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with Python and SQL to manipulate and analyse data.
Experience with Power BI or a similar visualisation tool.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Power BI reporting for monthly sales insights and quarterly customer sell-through reviews
Own and refine market share dashboards and reporting
Pull and connect data across multiple systems and sources using Python and SQL
Support marketing with consumer and eCommerce analytics
Present data-driven insights to stakeholders at all levels, including customers
Support demand forecasting and inventory reporting
Pick up and connect into existing dashboards and automations as handover progresses
