Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a senior network engineer to design and build our corporate network foundations as we expand globally. You will shape the team, lead the implementation across LAN/WAN, and ensure highly available, secure connectivity for offices worldwide.

You will collaborate with CorpSec, ProdSec, Engineering and IT teams, document architectures, and mentor others. A strong Juniper/Palo Alto background and multi-vendor experience are required.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience designing, implementing and maintaining Juniper and Palo Alto networks.
• Experience in a multi-vendor global networking environment (Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba, etc.).
• Strong networking fundamentals with wifi expertise and endpoint engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and shape the corporate network foundations and future team structure.
• Design, implement and maintain global network infrastructure across offices.
• Configure on-prem gateway/router hardware across locations and vendors.
• Manage global connectivity and incident response through completion.
• Collaborate with security, engineering and IT teams on network solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and runbooks.
