Job summary

IMC Trading is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the BP&A team in Sydney, with collaboration across Sydney and Amsterdam. You will develop reporting, automate ETL processes, and provide insights across Trading, Finance, Mid Office and HR.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data analytics, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience with Tableau, PowerBI and Qlik. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or similar.
• 3+ years in data analysis / business intelligence.
• Strong Python experience; PyCharm preferred.
• Experience building BI reporting in Tableau, PowerBI and Qlik.
• SQL proficiency; version control and issue tracking (Git/JIRA).
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Interest in finance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and implement global BP&A aspects of strategic projects.
• Develop databases, improve ETL processes and automation.
• Create and maintain BI reports according to requirements.
• Manage data and reporting pipelines from development to production.
• Collaborate with Sydney teams and other offices to collect requirements.
• Partner with all business areas to support analysis and reporting needs.
