Job summary

My Gateway in Sydney is seeking a motivated 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice to join a small, hands-on team specialising in glazing and carpentry across residential and commercial projects. You will gain hands-on experience with glazing and carpentry tasks, framing, and general residential construction under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.

The role offers mentoring, weekly pay, and pathways toward a nationally recognised trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Open to 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentices with glazing or construction interest.
• Willingness to learn and develop trade skills on-site.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with glazing and carpentry activities.
• Supporting wall and roof framing and general structural works.
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assisting with installation and handling of glazing products.
• Supporting tradespeople across residential building projects.
• Loading/unloading and moving materials around worksites.
• Performing manual handling and heavy lifting as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
