Job summary

My Gateway in New South Wales is offering an apprenticeship in residential carpentry. You’ll work across all stages of construction, measure, cut, and assemble materials, install doors and flooring, and read plans.

You’ll complete a Certificate III in Carpentry while gaining hands-on experience and mentoring from experienced tradespeople. This role involves working away from home with allowances; you’ll receive weekly pay, government incentives opportunities, and four weeks of paid annual leave

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship leading to Certificate III in Carpentry will be completed during on-site training.
• Role trains across all residential carpentry stages.
• Must obtain White Card or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Work across all stages of residential carpentry.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials to build frameworks.
• Install doors, windows, flooring, and finishing details.
• Read and interpret plans for builds.
• Maintain tools and ensure site safety.
