Job summary

Glasstech (Qld) Pty Ltd in Cairns is seeking a delivery driver/loader for local deliveries of our glass products. The role involves loading, unloading, and driving to customers from Stratford and occasionally Portsmith branches.

This full-time position requires a physically fit person, with MR or HR license and a customer-service mindset. We provide ongoing support, safety training, and a hands-on role in a fast-moving industry.

Qualifications

• Current MR or HR license holder and valid driving record.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Experience handling glass or fragile products is an advantage.

If you are fit and want to work in a fast-moving industry, we would like to speak with you.

We are currently seeking a delivery driver/loader for local deliveries of our product.

You will be required to locate and load your truck with glass and deliver to our customers.

This is a full-time position and requires a physically fit person. This position is located at our Stratford branch, however , you may be required to help out with deliveries from our Portsmith branch as well.

We are dedicated to ensuring all our staff are provided with ongoing support, safety and training.

Key responsibilities

• checking orders
• maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness
• following all workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• current MR or HR license
• previous delivery experience preferred
• experience handling glass or similar fragile products an advantage
• Should involve manual handling and customer service skills
• Basically, this isn’t just a driving role. You will be loading and unloading too. So, it’s important to be comfortable with physical work and careful with handling breakable materials.
