Job summary

AECOM in Perth is seeking a GIS Team Lead to elevate spatial impact across major infrastructure projects. You will lead a high-performing team, shape GIS strategy and bidding, and drive integration of GIS, CAD, and BIM to enable better decisions and outcomes.

Lead regional initiatives, coordinate with Digital Delivery, BIM, and data platforms, and ensure end-to-end project delivery with quality, governance, and robust data workflows. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
• Strong Esri GIS expertise across Desktop, Enterprise, and Online.
• Hands-on automation using FME and Python; data governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Perth GIS team: coach, allocate workload, set priorities, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Shape and steer GIS bidding strategy to improve efficiency and win rates.
• Develop 3D geospatial environments for decision support and collaboration on complex designs.
• Integrate GIS, CAD, and BIM using automated tools (FME, Python) and explore AI-enabled spatial intelligence.
• Coordinate with Digital Delivery, BIM, CAD, and platform leads to enable interoperable workflows.
