Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment – Brisbane QLD seeks a skilled cloud services automation engineer to own the development lifecycle of automation toolsets for a world-leading platform. You will design, develop, test, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation, with some operations tasks.

The candidate should have strong scripting in PowerShell/Python/Ruby, extensive AWS/Azure cloud experience, IaC, and modern security concepts, plus GIS knowledge and web tech experience in

Qualifications

• Understand SDLC and cloud automation experience.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python, Ruby or similar.
• Experience with source control and automated testing.
• Experience with AWS (preferably) or Azure and CloudFormation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) philosophy.
• Configuration management using Chef, Puppet, Ansible or Salt.
• Strong security concepts for web apps and cloud platforms.
• Ability to define architecture/design when needed.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience implementing CI/CD systems.
• Change/risk management for releases.
• Priorknowledge with GIS products.
• Web development with JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js/React.
