Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Wardsperson for Royal Prince Alfred Hospital to support nursing and health service workers, assisting with patient care, cleaning, and non-clinical tasks. The role runs 38 hours per week on a permanent full-time basis, with a salary around $64,440–$64,891 plus super.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Nursing and other health service workers.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of infection control and manual handling principles.

Responsibilities

• Tidying, cleaning and duties associated with direct patient care.
• Geriatrics patient support with personal care and feeding under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
