Bathurst Health Service is seeking a Staff Specialist Geriatrician to provide expert assessment and care for older patients with complex medical needs. You will lead an active multidisciplinary team and contribute to the evolution of geriatric services in regional NSW.

Formación

• FRACP with specialist recognition in Geriatric Medicine
• Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Strong experience in the assessment and management of older patients with complex needs
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• Interest in service development, education and quality improvement
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsabilidades

• Providing comprehensive geriatric assessment and specialist consultation
• Participating in multidisciplinary ward rounds and case conferences
• Leading development of geriatric services
• Mentoring and educating medical and allied health staff
• Contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance
• Improving patient outcomes and discharge planning
