SGS Australia is seeking a Geotechnician to perform construction materials testing across laboratory and field environments in Kalgoorlie. You will collect samples, test to standards, calibrate equipment and help develop junior technicians, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and overtime as needed.
Role requires Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or Civil Engineering qualification, and prior lab experience; NATA signatory status is preferred.

Put your construction materials testing expertise to work in a varied role where no two days are the same. We are seeking a capable Geotechnician to deliver accurate, efficient and high-quality testing services across laboratory and field environments in Kalgoorlie.
You will test and analyse construction materials using destructive and non-destructive techniques, applying your technical knowledge and judgement with limited supervision. You will also support the development of Assistant Geotechnicians and Technical Assistants while maintaining safe, reliable and client-focused service.
Enjoy a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule, with overtime available based on operational needs. The role also requires flexibility to work across Perth Metropolitan area and at site-based laboratories as needed.
