Job summary

CMW Geosciences in Sydney is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our hands-on team. Whether you are a recent graduate or have up to four years of experience, you will contribute to challenging infrastructure, transmission, and renewable energy projects while growing your expertise.

You will undertake fieldwork, data collection, analysis and reporting under senior guidance, collaborating with engineers and geologists to develop practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science.
• Ability to complete strenuous fieldwork tasks.
• Ability to travel when required.
• Hold a full Australian driver’s license.
• Desire to work outdoors with rocks, soil and geology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks under senior guidance.
• Develop technical solutions using engineering and geological principles.
• Carry out fieldwork, data collection/processing and design/reporting.
• Support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.
