Job summary

CMW Geosciences in Darwin is seeking motivated Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists with 2+ years of consultancy experience to join our team on significant infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects.

You will supervise geotechnical investigations, develop practical solutions with technical teams, and contribute to reports and project delivery in a collaborative environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist in consultancy.
• Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate geotechnical investigation and fieldwork programs, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
• Work closely with technical teams to develop practical geotechnical solutions, applying engineering and geological principles.
• Support the planning, execution and delivery of geotechnical scopes of work, liaising with site personnel, contractors and senior technical staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, field records and reports to support project delivery and stakeholder requirements.
