Job summary

ADE Consulting Group is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to join our growing NSW/QLD/VIC team. You will contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure, residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality technical outcomes for clients and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Holds a valid unrestricted driver's license for use in Australia.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork, including site investigations and willingness to work in remote areas.
• Developing technical design and report/proposal writing skills, with basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Adheres to relevant systems and procedures, emphasising attention to detail.
• Demonstrates awareness of risk management, ethics, and safety practices.
• Prioritises client-centric principles and ensures completion of assigned tasks within budget and on time.
• Commits to continuous professional development and values feedback.
• Aligns with the company's vision, maintains a professional image, and delivers accurate work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge to diverse projects in infrastructure, residential, and commercial developments and contribute to optimal outcomes while prioritising environmental and community health.
• Receive appropriate training, guidance and supervision to provide construction phase support services.
• Geotechnical and pavement investigations, including borehole logging, DCP testing, and field mapping.
• Data management, interpretation and reporting including borehole logs and geotechnical models.
• Geotechnical analysis of foundations, slopes, and pavement design.
• Prepare specifications, proposals and client communications.
• Liaise with clients on project needs and manage varying workload.
• Operate with due diligence and safety commitments.
