Job summary

Queensland Government, Transport and Main Roads, seeks a Surveyor to manage engineering survey projects across planning, design, construction and management phases of the road network. You will work with the survey and geospatial team to deliver high-quality, compliant outcomes and provide technical expertise in geospatial applications.

The role requires a degree in Spatial Science/Surveying or SBQ-acceptable qualification, a Class C licence, and eligibility to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled/studying in a relevant Spatial Science/Surveying degree.
• SBQ acceptance or degree required for appointment at PO2/PO3.
• Current Class C driver licence required.
• Pre-employment checks including criminal history screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering survey projects within planning, design, construction, and management phases.
• Provide technical expertise and consultancy in geospatial applications.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on survey projects.
• Ensure practices comply with policies, legislation and SBQ standards.
