Job summary

Equans Solar & Storage in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an Intern in Data Analysis to apply geophysical and geotechnical investigations. This 6-month paid internship offers hands-on exposure to large-scale solar and storage projects and collaboration with the Innovations team.

You will develop, refine and validate data analytics and ML models, consolidate datasets from boreholes, geophysics surveys, and installation records, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for project

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Data Science/AI/CS or similar.
• Has modules or experience with geotechnical engineering, geophysics, or civil engineering.
• Proficient in Python and common data science libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine and validate data analytics and ML models for ground conditions.
• Consolidate and manage large datasets from boreholes, geophysical surveys and installation records.
• Build predictive models and visualization tools to improve risk assessment and planning.
• Adapt existing models to Australian ground conditions and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and innovation teams and prepare technical reports.
