Job summary

Northern Star Resources is seeking a Geologist – Operations for our Jundee operations. This permanent full-time role offers an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth and the chance to work alongside a 40+ strong geology team.

You will deliver production data, perform checks on headings, and liaise with production to ensure accurate ore presence assessments while supporting end-of-month reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years' practical experience in underground mining.
• Exposure to Leapfrog and Datamine will be highly regarded.
• Sound understanding of QA/QC processes and industry best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate production data, forecasts and associated daily reports.
• Perform geological checks on headings where there is uncertainty of ore presence and communicate results to production team.
• Identify opportunity structures underground and coordinate with survey to map them for follow-up work.
• Reconcile development and stope production tonnes and grade back to the grade control model and end-of-month reconciliation.
