Job summary

IHR Group is seeking a Clinical Coordinator - General Surgery for a private Sydney hospital. The role involves hands-on clinical leadership within the Theatre Department, collaborating with Nurse Unit Managers to ensure high-quality patient care, and alignment with best practice standards.

This permanent, full-time position requires current AHPRA registration, senior nursing experience, and post-graduate qualifications.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum five (5) post-graduate nursing experience.
• Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager.
• Management or post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Experience managing clinical staff including recruitment, rostering and performance management.
• Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical leadership in the Theatre Department.
• Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers and clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Support delivery of safe, best-practice care in accordance with standards and requirements.
