Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME General Surgery residency completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• ATLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Handle trauma activations within Level III Trauma Center scope.
• Provide surgical coverage for hospital and ED.
• Independently address urgent surgical needs.
• Support trauma handoffs and inpatient care.
• Live within ~20 minutes of Platte Valley Hospital.
