Job summary

Medrecruit Gladstone Central, QLD, AU is seeking a General Practitioner for locum cover from 9–29 November 2026. The position offers either full-time or part-time engagement with travel and accommodation included.

Rates include superannuation and casual loading where applicable. AHPRA registration is required. The hospital serves a 29-bed medical/surgical ward with maternity, paediatric, and HDU facilities, located about 550 km north of Brisbane.

This hospital is approximately 550 km North of Brisbane and 100 km south-east of Rockhampton.

The hospital has the capacity for 29 bed medical/surgical ward (including palliative care), 14-bed gynaecology/maternity wards with four birthing suites, eight-bed paediatric ward and four-bed high dependency unit.
