MedRecruit Limited seeks a locum Surgical Consultant to cover a hospital in Gladstone, Queensland from 7 to 31 December 2026. You will provide medical care across medical/surgical wards, including palliative care, with hospital support and local orientation.

The role requires current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner and provides travel and accommodation. It is an on-site assignment with a supportive team and hospital context.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This hospital is approximately 550 km North of Brisbane and 100 km south-east of Rockhampton.

The hospital has the capacity for 29 bed medical/surgical ward (including palliative care), 14-bed gynaecology/maternity wards with four birthing suites, eight-bed paediatric ward and four-bed high dependency unit.
