Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum General Practitioner to cover a rural Queensland hospital from 30 November to 6 December 2026. You will join a team of experienced medical officers and serve a community of ~4,000 people.

Travel and accommodation are provided; all rates include superannuation and casual loading where applicable. AHPRA registration is required to practice as a medical practitioner in Australia, and rural practice experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Rural or remote practice experience preferred.
• Locum availability for 30 November – 6 December 2026.

This 24-bed rural hospital located in South Western Queensland will offer you the ability to make a difference in a town of approximately 4,000. You will work alongside experienced senior medical officers as well as look after patients from the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
