Job summary

headspace Liverpool is seeking a General Practitioner to provide high quality primary health care to young people aged 12-25 within a collaborative, holistic model of care. You will work alongside psychologists, social workers and peer workers in a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to youth health and wellbeing.

Casual employment is available up to two days a week, with sessional options. Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Liverpool, a not-for-profit primary health

Qualifications

• Registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA.
• Eligible for Vocational Registration and Medicare Provider Number.
• Knowledge of youth-friendly practice and adolescent health issues.
• Experience managing mental health or substance use in general practice.

About The Role

Skills & Experience

• Current registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA
• Vocational Registration and eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
• Knowledge of youth-friendly practice and understanding of issues relevant to the care of adolescents and young adults
• Skills in the management of mental health and/or substance use problems in general practice
