Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a competent medical officer to cover FACEM/GP ED duties at a small public hospital in Cooma, NSW. The role includes on-site shifts from 1000 to 2000 and on-call periods, with travel and accommodation provided where applicable.

The successful candidate must have current AHPRA registration and be able to manage on-call rotations while delivering high-quality care across hospital units, including geriatric and obstetric services.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Experience in emergency/acute care is preferred.
• Ability to manage on-call rotations and on-site shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide FACEM/GP ED medical care and leadership.
• Cover on-site shifts 1000–2000 and participate in on-call rotations.
• Oversee patient flow and coordinate with hospital units on site.

This is a small publsih hospital offering the following services:
