Job summary

Medrecruit is seeking a Consultant Specialist GP / Rehab / Geriatrician to deliver locum services at a rural NSW hospital. You will work 0800–1630 in January 2027, with travel and accommodation provided. Rates include superannuation and casual loading where applicable.

AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner is required to be eligible for this assignment. The hospital is a local community, level 3 rural facility within the Northern NSW Local Health District, serving 2,300+ patients annually

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum cover dates are provided: 11–15 Jan 2027, 18–22 Jan 2027, 25–29 Jan 2027.
• Shift times: 0800–1630 and working at a level 3 rural hospital in Northern NSW Local Health District.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant Specialist GP / Rehab / Geriatrician services.
• Deliver care within a rural hospital setting and associated departments.
• Coordinate with local teams for patient care during specified shifts.
