Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled primary health care service, operating in the Rockhampton and wider Central Queensland region for more than 30 years and their vision is for Healthy and Strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, children, families and communities – self – determining, culturally strong, and thriving in their own way. The organisation provides comprehensive primary healthcare and wellbeing services, collaborates with partner agencies for integrated continuity of care and advocates for health policy and health system reform. Their services include general practice bulk‑billing clinics, social and emotional wellbeing and generalist counselling services, chronic disease management, preventative health screening, children and family health and early childhood education services.
Working as a full‑time General Practitioner based in Rockhampton, you will report to the Clinical Operations Manager and play a vital role in delivering comprehensive and culturally sensitive healthcare services to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
