Job summary

An opportunity is available for a part-time General Practitioner to join a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation on Palm Island. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services including general and aged care medicine, chronic disease management, preventative health care and telehealth services.

• General Registration with AHPRA and ability to obtain a Medicare Provider Number.

• Sound clinical assessment, diagnostic and patient management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current medical indemnity insurance and CPR certification.
• Open to applicants with valid authority to work in Australia.
