Job summary

Clayfield Family Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy general practice in Brisbane. You will support doctors, deliver high-quality patient care, and assist with day-to-day operations in a welcoming community clinic.

You will bring current AHPRA registration, CPR certification, and general practice nursing experience, with strong teamwork and communication skills to support patients across prevention, chronic disease management and acute care in a patient-centred

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration or equivalent.
• CPR certificate is current and valid.
• Previous General Practice nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Caring, patient-centred and collaborative approach to healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and patient care
• Supporting immunisation programs and preventative healthcare
• Providing wound care, dressings and other nursing treatments
• Assisting with chronic disease management, care plans and health assessments
• Maintaining infection control, sterilisation and cold chain management standards
• Performing clinical procedures, including ECGs and spirometry
• Participating in quality improvement activities
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting efficient practice operations
