The General Manager Resource Access is a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, performance and reform of the Department's resource access functions. Leading a multidisciplinary branch through a team of six direct reports, the role is accountable for delivering complex approval processes relating to Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage. The position plays a key role in shaping policy, modernising access frameworks and implementing whole-of-government legislative and regulatory reform agendas. To succeed in this role, you will bring substantial senior management experience in Native Title, Aboriginal Heritage, land access or related regulatory environments, together with a proven track record in leading large-scale change, business process improvement and service delivery reform. You will demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, governance and the successful delivery of complex initiatives, supported by exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and experience working with Ministers, government agencies, Aboriginal communities and peak industry bodies. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished leader to influence significant policy and operational outcomes that support Western Australia's resources sector.
