Job summary

Minor Hotels Australasia is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the Mackay and Isaac Region portfolio, including Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel, Oaks Mackay Carlyle Suites, Oaks Moranbah Suites & Oaks Middlemount Suites.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead day-to-day operations, manage budgets, collaborate with Body Corporate Committees and owners, and drive guest satisfaction and financial performance across multi-site properties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager within a hotel, resort or serviced apartments environment.
• Experience managing multiple properties or working within a multi-site environment is highly regarded
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting and driving profitability
• Experience working within a strata title environment and liaising with Body Corporate Committees and owners
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and lead high-performing teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple properties

Minor Hotels Australasia is looking for an experienced and commercially minded General Manager - Mackay & Isaac Region to oversee a portfolio of properties across the Mackay & Isaac Region, including Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel, Oaks Mackay Carlyle Suites, Oaks Moranbah Suites & Oaks Middlemount Suites.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, financial performance and guest experience across multiple properties. Operating within a strata title environment, you will work closely with Body Corporate Committees, owners and on-site teams to ensure each property delivers strong commercial results, operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
