Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a values-led General Manager for Kanwal Springs Care Community on the Central Coast. You’ll lead clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver person-centred care in a home-like environment where residents feel safe, connected and truly at home.

Supported by a multidisciplinary team, you’ll champion high-quality care, drive performance across care standards, finances and compliance, and build trusted relationships with residents, families and the local community.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in regulated, service-led environments.
• Ability to develop high-performing teams and culture.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and risk management.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a highly regulated, service-led environment (e.g. aged care, health or community services)
• Strong ability to inspire and develop teams, fostering an engaged, high-performing culture
• Commercial acumen with strong financial capability and a commitment to quality care
• Highly effective communication skills with a visible, hands-on leadership style
• Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality standards and risk management
• AHPRA registration (highly regarded), or relevant qualifications/experience in a related field
