Northern Territory Government - Department of Logistics and Infrastructure in Darwin is seeking an Executive Officer 3 to lead the Housing and Land Servicing portfolio. The role involves strategic leadership over public housing, land servicing programs and major capital investments across urban, regional and remote areas of the Territory.

An Executive contract of up to 4 years may be offered.

Join the Department of Logistics & Infrastructure and help shape the future of housing and land development across the Northern Territory. As General Manager Housing and Land Servicing, you will lead a major capital investment program delivering public housing, land servicing and essential infrastructure projects that support communities across urban, regional and remote areas of the Territory.

Working at the strategic level, you will oversee complex programs, negotiate with government agencies, land councils and community stakeholders, and drive the delivery of culturally appropriate housing solutions aligned with Territory priorities.

The Role

As General Manager Housing and Land Servicing, you will provide strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio of housing and land development initiatives, including:

• Leading the planning, design, procurement and delivery of public housing and land servicing programs.
• Overseeing major capital investment programs, including housing construction, land subdivision and enabling infrastructure projects.
• Managing complex stakeholder relationships across government, land councils, Aboriginal organisations and community groups.
• Leading negotiations, approvals and governance processes to achieve project outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory requirements, while managing risk across large-scale programs.
• Providing high-level advice, strategic reporting and recommendations to senior executives and government stakeholders.
• Leading and developing a high-performing team focused on innovation, collaboration and service delivery.

About you

• Extensive experience leading housing, land development, infrastructure or related programs within complex environments.
