G’Day Group’s Hahndorf Discovery Parks is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-performing tourism and accommodation operation. You will guide an established leadership team, drive guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence across all property areas.

You will bring extensive G.M. experience in resort or park settings, strong financial skills, and a passion for developing people and teams in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a General Manager within high-performing resort, hotel, holiday park, or tourism operation with accommodation and F&B offerings.
• Strong career progression within hospitality showing delivery of results in each role.
• Excellent financial acumen covering budgets, P&L, revenue, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently high standards across accommodation, food & beverage, guest services and resort facilities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and frontline teams to deliver guest experiences.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, cost management, revenue optimisation, and strategic decisions.
• Build relationships with local tourism bodies, suppliers and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, workplace safety, food safety standards and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance guest satisfaction and performance.
• Represent the property and the G’Day Group within the Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills tourism community.
