Insignia Financial is seeking a General Manager, Group Internal Audit, to lead an independent, objective internal audit function with access to Boards. As General Manager, Group Internal Audit, you will lead an independent, objective and commercially focused Internal Audit function for Insignia Financial. Reporting functionally to the Chairs of the Group and RSEL Audit Committees and administratively to the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide risk-based assurance, insight and constructive challenge across governance, risk management, internal controls and remediation activity.
This is a senior leadership role with direct and unrestricted access to key Boards and Committees. You will set the internal audit strategy, lead a high-performing team, manage the co-source provider relationship and build trusted, constructive relationships with executives, management, regulators and external assurance providers while maintaining the independence, objectivity and authority of the function.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a strategically important assurance function at the heart of a large, regulated financial services organisation. As General Manager, Group Internal Audit, you will provide independent, risk-based assurance and constructive challenge to senior executives, Boards and Audit Committees, helping strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across the enterprise. You will shape the audit strategy and operating model, lead a capable team, partner with a co-source provider and influence meaningful improvements that support clients, members, advisers, shareholders and stakeholders.
