Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a General Manager, Group Internal Audit, to lead an independent, objective internal audit function with access to Boards. You will set strategy, manage a high-performing team and the co-source provider, delivering risk-based assurance across governance, risk management and controls.

This senior role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and a proven ability to elevate complex issues to Board level, while maintaining independence and integrity.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in internal audit within financial services.
• Ability to set strategy and drive co-source relationships.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent communication and reporting to Boards.
• Experience with governance, risk management and controls.

Responsibilities

• Set the internal audit strategy, operating model and objectives.
• Develop and deliver the dynamic risk-based audit plan.
• Provide independent assurance on governance, risk and controls.
• Maintain relationships with Audit Committees and senior management.
• Lead, coach and develop the internal audit team and co-source provider.
