Job summary

South West Hospital and Health Service in Roma, Queensland, is looking for a General Manager Aged Care to provide strategic leadership and oversee all residential aged care and community aged care services within the SWHHS.

You will work with the Chief Operating Officer and senior management to deliver safe, effective and sustainable aged care in a rural and remote environment, guiding ongoing development of our aged care facilities.

South West Hospital and Health Service - Roma QLD

The General Manager Aged Care Services reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the operations of all residential aged care and community aged care services within the South West Hospital and Health Service (SWHHS).

The General Manager Aged Care is a key member of the Health Service's Senior Management Team and works in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, Executive Directors and other General Managers and senior management to support the delivery of safe, effective and sustainable aged care within the SWHHS.

The General Manager Aged Care will bring strong leadership and business management experience to the role and will possess a strong understanding of the legislative, clinical and professional environment pertinent to the operation of aged care services within a rural and remote environment.
