Senior Medical Officer (General Practitioner or Rural Generalist)

South West Hospital and Health Service are seeking a Senior Medical Officer to live and work in a unique part of Australia, contributing to the health and wellbeing of the local community while supporting the sustainability of the workforce and clinical services.

Your opportunity

Provide evidence-based, high-quality critical care across all areas of medical practice, including patient interviews, clinical examinations, identification of clinical issues and health opportunities, developing comprehensive care and health promotion plans, focusing on chronic disease management with team-based care and key performance indicators to reduce community disease burden, maintaining clear and accurate patient records, and delivering out-of-hours care during nights and weekends.
