Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Club and implement strategic priorities established by the Committee.
• Provide regular operational and governance reporting to the Committee and support Committee decision-making through professional advice.
• Develop, review and implement Club policies, procedures and operational frameworks.
• Develop and manage annual operational budgets, monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve financial sustainability.
• Lead and manage all paid Club employees, establish clear performance expectations and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee the management and presentation of all Club facilities and develop facility maintenance and improvement plans.
• Liaise with Moreton Bay City Council regarding facility operations, maintenance and future infrastructure projects.
• Support the delivery of the Club's strategic growth objectives and develop initiatives to improve member engagement, retention and experience.
• Support sponsorship acquisition, retention and activation and coordinate grant identification, applications and acquittals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and governing body requirements and maintain Club records and governance documentation.

Moreton City Excelsior Football Club Inc – Brendale QLD

The General Manager is responsible for professional leadership, operational management and implementation of the financial budget of Moreton City Excelsior Football Club.

The role provides strategic and operational leadership across all non-technical areas of the Club, ensuring the effective delivery of the Club's strategic plan, financial objectives, facilities management, staff leadership, governance requirements and stakeholder relationships. It leads and guides the Technical Staff in achieving the audit requirements of the FQ Academy.

The General Manager serves as the key link between the Committee, staff, club members, Football Queensland, Council, sponsors and community stakeholders; ensuring the Club continues to grow sustainably while aiming to reduce the operational workload placed on volunteers and Committee members.
