Job summary

Cleanaway is offering a permanent, full-time cleaner/labourer role based in Mackay, QLD. The position runs day shifts from 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday with overtime paid at penalty rates.

You will perform general cleaning and labour tasks, handle loading/unloading of liquid waste, and ensure a safe, efficient job site. Candidates must have a C class license and forklift licence, be physically fit, and able to pass medical and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid C class drivers license.
• Forklift licence is essential.
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• General site cleaning and labouring.
• Loading and unloading industrial liquid waste.
• Transferring waste from collection containers, loading and unloading primarily liquid waste trucks.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site.
