Job summary

Aruma is seeking a Gardens and Grounds Maintenance Team Member to join our Western Sydney team. You will maintain gardens and lawns at residential and commercial sites, ensuring high standards of presentation and safety.

The role offers training, Monday–Friday 7 am–3 pm, with travel required and a supportive, values-driven workplace. You'll work closely with the Team Leader, perform lawn care and weed control, and help supported employees build skills to reach employment goals.

Qualifications

• Background in property or garden maintenance.
• Familiarity with operating relevant equipment (training provided).
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

About The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Gardens and Grounds Maintenance Team Member to join our team in Western Syndey! You’ll be responsible for maintaining gardens and lawns at residential and commercial sites. If you bring the right attitude, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7 am to 3 pm and travel is required.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in property or garden maintenance, including lawn and weed identification.
• Familiarity with operating relevant equipment (training provided if needed).
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks within a small team.
• Valid driver’s licence - minimum P2.
• Confident towing a trailer.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Childrens Check.
