Job summary

Terra Infrastructure on the Gold Coast is seeking a General Hand / Forklift Operator to support our yard operations and site logistics.

You will load and unload sheet piles and machinery with a forklift up to 16 tonnes, perform general labour tasks, pick/pack orders, maintain stock, and keep the yard clean and organised. A valid driver’s licence and forklift experience are essential, along with the ability to pass pre-employment medicals.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s licence.
• Forklift experience up to 16 tonnes desirable.
• Be physically fit with ability to pass pre-employment medicals (incl. Drug and Alcohol screening).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift (up to 16 tonne) to load and unload sheet piles, machinery, trench shoring, and other products.
• Carry out general labouring tasks, including handling, storing, and distributing stock.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Operate oxy-fuel, plasma cutting equipment and hand power tools.
• Operate machinery and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning to keep the yard clean and organised.
• Maintain inventory, stock takes and associated paperwork.
