Job summary

WorkPac Group places a client in a manufacturing role in Coolum Beach, Queensland. The position involves operating a forklift in the production area, moving timber frames and roof trusses, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with yard duties and packing orders.

You will also work on the assembly line using hand and power tools. Ideal candidates are physically fit with a forklift ticket (6+ months) and a valid driver’s licence, with reliable transport.

Job description

Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying prefabricated timber products to the building and construction industry. They specialise in producing timber wall frames and roof trusses for residential and commercial construction projects.

Shift structure:

Monday to Friday | 6:30am starts working 8 hour days

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will be working in the production section or as a forklift operator and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Operating forklift to move frames and trusses around the yard
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe.
• Assist with pick packing orders or assisting with yard duties
• Working in the assembly line to create frames and trusses
• Using hand tools and power tools

What You Will Need

• Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
• Forklift ticket and experience operating (6+ months)
• Physically fit and reliable
