Job summary

Drive Group Australia, Pinkenba team, is seeking a hands-on yard and workshop coordinator to support site operations. You will triage vehicles, assist estimators, liaise with tow teams and help with vehicle disassembly while ensuring safety and quality.

Strong communication and a current driving license are essential, along with a readiness to learn and use computer systems for tracking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar automotive role (ideal).
• Excellent communication with insurers, customers and team members.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver service outcomes.
• Current full driving license.
• Competent in computer and systems management or willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming vehicles and take high-quality photos to support quotes and claims.
• Assist estimators by moving vehicles in and out of estimating bays.
• Liaise with towing companies to arrange pickup of non-drivable or total loss vehicles.
• Assist with disassembly of vehicles, label and store parts properly.
• Locate vehicles for inspections, quotes or customer viewings.
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices.

As part of our Pinkenba team, you will be responsible for coordinating yard control, vehicle triage, general upkeep of the workshop and production support ensuring a smooth running of site operations. You will be communicating with a range of internal team members as well as customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Triage all incoming vehicles including taking high-quality images of vehicles to support quote and claim process

Assist estimators by coordinating movement of vehicles in and out of estimating bays

• Assist with the dis-assembly of vehicles as required, ensuring parts are labelled and stored appropriately

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Automotive industry (ideal)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with insurers, customers and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve service outcomes
• Current full driving license
• Competent in computer and systems management skills or willing to learn
