Qualifications

• Current registration as a Dental Practitioner in Australia with the Dental Board of Australia.
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous experience as General Dentist in a dental practice.
• Ability to work independently and manage patients effectively.
• Strong clinical knowledge across general dentistry procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Commitment to quality care and positive patient outcomes.
• Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a busy clinical schedule.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
• Current CPR certification and commitment to ongoing education.
• Experience using Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions.
• Perform preventative procedures such as cleanings, fluoride, sealants.
• Extract teeth and perform minor oral surgery as required.
• Create treatment plans and discuss options with patients.
• Administer local anaesthesia and manage patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow dental regulations, health and safety protocols, and infection control.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients for excellent service.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and team members for coordinated care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled dental professional to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and modern practice environment located in Seaford, VIC 3198. As a General Dentist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive dental services, building strong patient relationships, and contributing to the overall success and reputation of our practice.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease and tooth decay
• Performing preventative dental procedures such as cleanings, fluoride treatments and dental sealants
• Extracting teeth and performing minor oral surgical procedures as required
• Creating treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and discussing options with patients
• Administering local anaesthesia and managing patient comfort throughout treatment
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and clinical documentation
• Following all relevant dental regulations, health and safety protocols, and infection control procedures
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with patients to ensure excellent customer service
• Collaborating with dental hygienists, assistants and other team members to provide coordinated care

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Dental Practitioner in Australia with the Dental Board of Australia
• A Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent recognised dental qualification
• Previous experience working as a General Dentist in a dental practice
• The confidence and ability to work independently and manage patients effectively
• Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency across a broad range of general dentistry procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional approach to patients
• A genuinely patient-centred approach with a strong commitment to quality care and positive patient outcomes
• The ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• The ability to manage time effectively and maintain a busy clinical schedule
• The ability to work collaboratively and respectfully within a close-knit team
• Current CPR certification and a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Experience using Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly regarded, although not essential
